"Accept Migration" project was my first Erasmus+ project. After attending the project, I regret not knowing about such projects earlier in my life. These projects are life-changing experiences that give you great opportunities to be introduced to new insights, friends, and cultures. I had the chance to attend pleasant seminars and spend time with a diverse background of people in a cozy, pastoral venue. The topic of the project, migration, was especially familiar for Turkish participants like me. We learned about different types of migration, international law, activities of states, NGOs, and international organizations. But the most unforgettable part of the project was helping the refugee center that was established for Ukrainian refugees. All in all, the "Accept Migration" project was an excellent opportunity to further my knowledge of migration, observe the current situation of the Ukrainian refugees first-hand, and meet great people.

Hi, I am Nevra. At the end of May, I had the opportunity to go abroad for the first time via the "Accept Migration" project. It was an incredible exoerience for me. The project took place in a small, incredibly peaceful place called Zabonosy and also the place was in touch with nature. During the project, we had the opportunity to get acquainted with immigration and the laws about it, as well as meeting with Ukrainian refugees. The photo I left here is a proof of the sweet communication we have created between me and the little girl I met there despite the language barrier. I thank LIDOSK very much for providing me with this experience and I look forward to participating in other projects?

I'm Ezgi, a 4th year law student in Antalya. My first project was Lidosk's 'Accepted Migration' project in Czechia between 22-27 May. This project was the second phase of the first project. It took place in Tbilisi. There were a total of 30 participants from 7 different countries. We listened to countries' immigration policies and immigrant stories. National dishes, drinks, dances were excellent. Most importantly, we bonded with people from many nationalities that we could not establish in normal life. I would like to thank the Lidosk team for making me go to this project. I hope we meet in more projects.

Second Leg of the Project

The second stage of the project, YE ‘Accept Migration” is just taking place in Georgia, bringing together youth coming from Czech Republic, Georgia, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Poland and Italy. The program has created a space for participants to explore role of international organizations and governmental bodies in migration management process, their policies towards migrants, refugees and IDPs. Tomorrow we will also visit IDPs settlement and have an opportunity to establish authentic connection with them. The design of the project is aiming to motivate youth to analyze the action plan of the international community in the migration management and see how their individual input can contribute to this process.

Hello everyone, this is Ceren! I study Biomedical engineering in Ankara.I attended "Accept Migration" program as my first Erasmus project that was organised by Lidosk on 7-14th August. Since it was my first project, I was worried about that I would have problems in foreign language and socializing with people, but it never happened. Turkish and foreign participants helped me a lot.Within a week, I met many foreign people and learned about their culture. While I had no chance to meet and become friends with nearly 30 people in such a short time in my daily life, I became friends with 30 people thanks to this project. This project once again reminded me of the importance of being a "World Person".I would like to thank my friends who supported me throughout the project, especially Lidosk, and everyone who contributed. I hope we meet again in other projects...

Hi, I am Emre. I took part in the Erasmus+ youth exchange project "Accept Migration" held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, between 7-14 August. As it was my first overseas experience and international project, I was worried when I went to the project, but from the first moment of the project, with the support of the participants from other countries, I completed 1 week without any difficulties. The only bad thing about the project was that it was finished, I wish it took longer. We did various teamworks and activities where we used our imagination at every stage of the project, and we visited the local migrant camp for 1 day as part of the migration. This was very effective because we hear about immigration and immigrants every day, but we don't really have an idea about where and how they live. Now it's been a few days since the project ended and I miss my friends I met on the project and the teamwork we prepared together. As part of this project, I made many new friends from different countries and cultures. I would like to thank our forwarding organization LİDOSK for helping me have this unique experience in my life.

This was my first project experience. And I can say it was great. Even though we all come from different countries, I felt like I was very familiar with everyone. Everyone was friendly and sincere to each other. Everyone was trying to speak English so that no one would feel alone and to find a common ground. While addressing their problems, I saw that we were all the same. We came from different cultures, but we shared similar feelings. The atmosphere of tolerance was very good. Thanks to the culture nights, we had more ideas about each other's lifestyles and we had a lot of fun. We increased our awareness together. Everything was beautiful. Thank you very much for this oppurtinity

Attending the second stage of the project Accept Migration was a great experience. I had the opportunity to recall the insights that I learned in the first stage and to share them with the rest of the participants. I enhanced my knowledge on migration. On the other hand, I had the chance to discover the rich history and geography of Georgia.
