About Project
The EU Green Deal aims to make Europe the first continent to zero its carbon emissions / become “carbon neutral” by 2050. Since it is planning about 30 years ahead, The European Union's Carbon Neutral Continent long-term strategy is most relevant to today's youth. Today's youth encompass a large proportion of the decision-makers of the future.
D.R.E.A.M.LAND has emerged as a youth need due to the low political literacy of today's youth, their low influence on political decisions, and the insufficient representation of young people in national assemblies.
Developing Routes of Europe's future through non-formal learning with Active Members (D.R.E.A.M.LAND) project, formed by 8 youth organizations from 8 different countries, was funded by the European Commission within the scope of Erasmus+ KA3: Support to policy development and cooperation - European Youth Together call. It aims to raise and create awareness, make young people willing to participate actively in civil society and inform them about political processes. In line with these goals, the DREAMLAND project will be implemented in Belgium, Slovenia, Sweden, Italy, North Macedonia, France, Finland and Turkey for two years under the coordination of LIDOSK.
Meetings
Our D.R.E.A.M. LAND project aims to enable European youth to collaborate and search for solutions to common problems across different cultures. As the first coordinator in Turkey for the Erasmus+ KA3 European Youth Together project “D.R.E.A.M. LAND”, we held the opening ceremony in Helsinki, Finland. Through this project, we aim to increase the cooperation and mutual understanding of European youth and to empower them to make a political contribution to their future through fostering leadership skills.
